"being virtual, which wasn't just like being on zoom and not being able to interact with people, it's acting by yourself And then, trying to hope that your video matches somebody else's video of their acting in response to yours um so instead of getting that natural feedback that we used to get where we would play off each other we're trying to guess what the other one would do."

"it's like, it's like you're on a boat. And you kind of get stranded in the middle of nowhere, but like you have food, but it's not necessarily food that you always want to eat. And you're stuck with a bunch of people that you don't necessarily always get along with, but like youget along with okay. But then there's also a couple of idiots that keep trying to swim to shore, even though it's 50 miles away and they’ll likely drown.nd some of them do drown but some of other people are like they didn’tdrown what are you talking about that hasn't been proven, yet, but they are clearly floating in the water deadnd so you're just waiting for the coast guard to come in to rescue you.ut somehow you row back to shore, but then you get carried back out"

"So, we actually at UVU, our guidelines are really, really restricted. So, for instance, at school currently we as dancers in our technique classes only have a 10 foot square block that we can dance in and thats technique class so we are in 10 feet and thats it."

"Well, the biggest challenge we'll talk about the past season was not knowing whether or not we were actually gonna play that week, you know, practicing, working hard and getting ready for a game that you don't know if it's going to take place.Yeah. We're really hard on our guys. Um, two weeks in a row, the first two weeks of the season, we worked all the way up until Friday. And found out on Friday that we were not going to play the next day. They had the rug pulled out from them twice."

"We were doing everything we can to play those dang games cause every time we got canceled or postponed, it was 500 grand and so that's a big hit and that went for coaches as well. If this coach gets sick and can't do this job, here's, who's going to cover for him. Yeah. Player is out. Here's the, here's the plan B. And so we had to have contingency plans across the board for everything, for our trainers, our coaches, uh, our strength staff, you know, everybody, we had a plan where if we lost a guy here was what was going to happen to compensate for that."
